Youngsters Football Club

The Club is in the field of football since 1997. The club's Academy is Accrediated by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the last two years.

"YOUNGSTERS CLUB" of Chandigarh is in the field of football since 1997. The foundation of the club was laid down by late Shr. Kanwar Harbans Lal – an avid footballer who desired to inculcate the spirit of Football in the youth of the City Beautiful. After the sad demise of it’s Founder President on 24th December 2002, the club was being run in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Later the likeminded football lovers of Chandigarh decided that “YOUNGSTERS CLUB” be put on a sound footings financially and to extend the area of its activities.

The club is  registered with The Registrar of Firms and Societies and the donation to the club is Exempted under Section 80-G of Income tax Act.

The Club is one of the best football clubs of the city and has prove its capability by winning several prestigious football tournaments of the region.

The club is also organizing annual Football tournament in Chandigarh in the memory of its founder President Kanwar Harbans Lal in senior as well as in junior category. Eminent Teams of the region are regularly participating in the tournament. In the junior category teams from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Himachal Pradesh are participating every year.

The Club's Youngsters Academy is accrediated by All India Football Federation , New Delhi since 2015 and regularly participating in the i-league. In the session 2016-17 Youngsters Academy became the champion of the Rest of India Zone and also participated in the NIKE PREMIER CUP 2017, FINAL ROUND AT MUMBAI and proved its worth.

Vision, Future Plans of the Club

Grooming the raw talented players | Make feeder system for YFC team (5 / 7 players every year) | Contribute to the National team in all age groups | Support the under privillaged football players of the society in game and studies | To set up Training Centres in the Slums | To conduct tournaments for different age groups. | Introduce the players to modern and scientific training methods | Professionalism on and off the field | For international level club management operations, Youngsters Club is also looking for some management company who can manage club, coaches & players | All the requisites of the 2nd Div I-League would be implemented with the help of management company. | Youngsters Club would also enhance the facilities of its academy to produce its own players and to sell players to other clubs in India & abroad. | Good performance by the club would ensure growing fan base and good merchandise sales. | To setup a residential Football academy for Under-14, U-17 & U-19 Players. | To make the Kanwar Harbans Lal Memorial Football tournament a tournament of International stature. | To produce world class football players from Chandigarh by providing professional training and guidance. | To help the needy/underprivileged football players in achieving their goals.

Trials of the club were organised for U-13,U-16 & U-19 on 31st March, 1st April & 2nd April 2016.

Trials of the club were organised for U-13,U-16 & U-19 on 31st March, 1st April & 2nd April 2016. 468 players from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Assam attend the trials. Thanks to all the participants & welcome to the selected players.

On 2nd February,2017 Youngsters F.C, Chandigarh played goal less draw with Shillong Lajong in the Nike Premier Cup U-16 Youth I-League organised by AIFF at Cooperage Football Stadium Mumbai. The match started on a fast pace,both the teams tried there level best to score. In the 20th minute of the match Shillong Lajong FC players combined well and attacked the Youngsters goal but sturdy goalkee per Rajanpreet of Youngsters FC saved the attack.

February 23, 2017

On February 6th, 2017  Youngsters F.C, Chandigarh played Goalless draw with Mohammedan Sporting FC, Kolkata, in the on going final round of U-16 Youth I- League, at Cooperage football ground,Mumbai. The match started on a fast pace as Amanpreet of Youngsters FC missed an opportunity in the 10th minute of the match by missed a sitter again in the 17th minute of the game Rohit Sheikh and Amanpreet combined well and beat the opponent defence through wall pass an attempt of Rohit Sheikh hit the cross bar.

Youngsters Football Club Chandigarh in association with New Public School, Sector 18, Chandigarh celebrated the A.F.C. (Asian Football Confederation) Grassroots Festival at Football Ground of New Public School today i.e. on 15th May, 2016. Sh. R.D. Singh, Principal New Public School inaugurated the Grassroots Festival.

Mr. RajPal Chauhan

Advocate Rajpal Chauhan, is an International Cyclist and a keen football lover /administrator. He has represented the Punjab state in football too and has an absolute zeal for the sports. He is the President Chandigarh Judo Association. Dispite of this he   is very active in political arena also   and working as National Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal Badal. Presently Sh.RajPal Chauhan is holding the charge of Director Punjab State Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC).
